TiGi BEDHEAD SMALL TALK

Long, short i've been through it all and it seems that TiGi bedhead small talk didn't do justice. I've tried applying it both damp, dry and wet hair and the outcome is still the same. However, the smell is really good and it flattens out hair and fly aways but don't apply directly to the roots since it's greasy and can cause dandruff.

Available in Salons for Php 1,720.

MARIO BADESCU DRYING LOTION

Okay, so I've finished my bottle of Mario Badescu drying lotion and yes, it dries zits in 24 hours but don't expect your pimple to disappear around that span of time because as the bottle implies it is a "DRYING LOTION" not a pimple remover. There's this big difference between drying and removing. Use an earbud and apply it on the affected area and wait overnight to dry it out and in a span of one week (maximum) say goodbye to those red ugly zits!!!

Very cheap for a 29ml bottle, the wonder bottle is available at Rustans for Php 1,095 / $17

Ingredients:
Isopropyl Alcohol, Calamine, Camphor, Colloidal Sulfur, Salicylic Acid, Glycerin, Talc, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide

T. LeClerc Dermophile Poudre

T. LeClerc's Dermophile loose Poudre in Banane is my Holy Grail. It is made up of very fine loose powder and it works amazingly with or without foundation. It gives you an undeniably and enviable glow, works wonders for oily skin since it produces a matte finish. The powder covers dark circles and red spots. I've read in a website article that "This powder is well-tolerated by the most sensitive skin, and also serves as protection against pollution and solar radiation." Since I have fair and pink undertone this shade works best for me.

The powder comes in a very cute packaging :)
Product is available in Rustans, Php 1,800 (35g) other websites sell this at around
$45- $50...

Other Shades:

Chair Ambree:
Rosy beige. Perfect illuminator for olive or tanned skin. Confers a healthy glow to mature skin without ruddiness.

Bistré
Rosy beige. Bestows a healthy glow and glamorous radiance to light Hispanic and Arab complexions with yellow undertones.

Camélia

Blanche
Pure white. Will enlighten dull complexion giving it a pearl skin without a whitening effect. It is perfect for highlighting the centre of the face, and enlarges the gaze when applied in the eye socket. Suitable for any complexion.

Parme
Snow with mauve gleams. Will whiten up complexions from pale to medium. Very much drama makeup.

Tilleul
Gentle mint green. Disguises flushing and veins on pale to fair complexions. Should always be applied under a naturally-coloured powder.

NARS

I've switched from MAC to NARS and I must admit I'm loving it, not that I'm not a fan of MAC anymore but NARS pressed powder really gives me that natural and dewy look. My skin type is very oily and i tend to retouch and pile on powder more than needed and it doesn't give me that "cake-y" look.

NARS pressed powder in BARCELONA -- Php 2,750, Rustans

for natural pink cheeks, I use NARS multi-purpose in MULTIPLE ORGASM, designed perfectly for failproof application, and it doubles as body-shimmer and eyeshadow. Not bad for Php 2,500+. and it blends well with any complexion.

blush stick in MULTIPLE ORGASM -- Php 2,550, Rustans

and my look will not be complete without a lipstick... for natural pouty lips, I use NARS in BARBARELLA, it blends well with MAC's pink nouveau or Khiel's Golden Berry lip gloss

MAC's RUSSIAN RED vs MODEL Co's TRUE RED

RED vs. RED

MAC's Russian Red

The Good:

I love how it flatters asian skin. It looks good both with fair and medium complexion.
It looks very elegant since there are other reds that'll make you look like a 10 dollar whore. Great if you go for the "pin-up" look say, Dita Von Teese. No need to apply every minute since it stays very long.

The Bad: the color stays even when you wipe it off, be careful when applying on the ends of your lips since it's hard to remove the lipstick stain when it runs past your lips.

MAC Russian Red

Model Co.'s True Red

The Good:

It has a very nice packaging, complete with mirror on the cap. Doesn't dry the lips.

Model Co.'s True Red

The Bad:

I'm not sure though but I just can't pull this off even with my fair complexion. It looks cheap on me could be because it's glossy since in my opinion red shades look elegant in matte. It's more expensive than MAC, i think the price is around Php 1,000++.

Well, as for me, I'd still go with MAC's Russian Red :)

LIPSTICK REVIEW: REVLON in pink about it

I went crazy over Revlon's Matte Collection. I've been dying, searching all over for the perfect matte and I was just so happy to hear that MATTE IS BACK!!! There are almost 8 or 10 (i think) different shades to choose from and had my eye on PINK ABOUT IT. Although it says "pink about it" the color doesn't really give you that pink shade, it think the shade falls under red. The good thing about it is you can use it alone but soon after it tends to dry and flake the lips. The color looks natural, the "just-bit-my-lip" look.

Would I buy this product again? Yes
Price: Affordable
